تأسست دبي الإنسانية في عام 2003 على يد صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، وكانت تعرف سابقًا باسم المدينة العالمية للخدمات الإنسانية (IHC)، وهي أكبر مركز إنساني في العالم. تعمل كمركز لوجستي عالمي للمساعدات الإنسانية، وتستضيف مجتمعًا متنوعًا يضم حوالي 80 عضوًا، بما في ذلك وكالات الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات غير الحكومية والكيانات التجارية المشاركة في الجهود الإنسانية.
