الوصف
تأسست دبي الجنوب، المعروفة سابقًا باسم دبي ورلد سنترال (DWC)، في عام 2006 كمشروع مدينة مخطط لها في دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، تمتد على مساحة 145 كيلومترًا مربعًا. تم تصميمها كمنطقة اقتصادية تدعم أنشطة متنوعة تشمل الخدمات اللوجستية، الطيران، التجارة، المعارض، الخدمات الإنسانية، والقطاعات السكنية، وكلها تتمحور حول مطار آل مكتوم الدولي، الذي يخطط له أن يكون لديه قدرة سنوية تبلغ 12 مليون طن من الشحن و160 مليون مسافر.
